Specializing in Document Management applications, we have developed the Drawing Management Database (DMD), an application that controls access and update of drawing libraries. DMD provides automated check-in and check-out of drawings, and can check information in the title blocks for consistency and accuracy. Document transmittals and exception reports are automatically generated during the check-in/check-out process. A user friendly search engine allows any user on the network to quickly locate, view, and print specific drawings from their desktop PC, without the native drawing software (Autocad or Microstation).

An optional "markup" feature allows any user to create a redline overlay file for a drawing, which can be viewed by other users at their option, and can be used to modify the original CAD file later.
